Being Harassed by Central Portfolio Control – What Can I Do?

Hey, I’m dealing with something really frustrating and could use some guidance. Central Portfolio Control has been calling and emailing me constantly about a debt I don’t even remember. I’ve asked for proof of the debt, but their responses are confusing or incomplete.

The calls keep coming, sometimes several times a day, and it’s really stressful. I feel like they are crossing the line with the way they are contacting me. I know the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act exists, but I’m not sure how to use it to make them stop without risking anything.

Has anyone dealt with CPC or a similar debt collector? What steps did you take to stop the harassment and protect yourself? Any advice, personal experiences, or even small tips would be really appreciated.
